Effective immediately, the default rate limit for the Economic Insight Data API has been increased from 500 to 1,000 requests per hour per API key. Institutional clients on the Enterprise plan will receive a limit of 10,000 requests per hour. The change is in response to growing demand from partners building real-time dashboards and automated news aggregators. Usage metrics are available in the developer dashboard.
